Raising Achievement for ALL Students.
Who I Am
“I am a proud APS graduate and community and classroom volunteer. My role as a parent of both neurodiverse and gifted children has inspired me to spend the last 6 years teaching other parents and caregivers how to navigate the school system in order to provide every learner with access to the tools and resources they need to be successful. I am running for school board because I have witnessed firsthand the unnecessary difficulty in the system, particularly for students who learn differently or face language barriers. You deserve a School Board member that commits to representing the needs of an increasingly diverse community. We must do better in supporting ALL of our students.”
My ABCs of Success
Academic Achievement
for EVERY kind of learner - including gifted, English learners, advanced learners, neurodiverse, students with disabilities/special needs, and twice exceptional (“2E”)
Better System-Wide Planning
for instruction, budgets, and school bond spending by developing a long-term vision and knowing the right questions to ask to understand the cost implications, both short and long-term
Collaboration & Community-Engagement
because divisiveness in education doesn’t improve student outcomes, and because the personal income, schedule flexibility, or language skills of a parent should not dictate a student’s success
